Senior Vice President, Operations & Administration

Eileen Taylor, Vice President of Operations for KnowledgeBank, Inc., has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, particularly compensation, compliance and organization assessment. Her industry experience includes the fields of financial services, information technology, scientific and engineering services, nonprofit organizations, manufacturing, security and telecommunications. She has also provided HR services to companies ranging from sole proprietorship to publicly held international organizations.

Prior to joining KnowledgeBank, Eileen served as Vice President & Principal for T.J. Ettinger, Inc., a human resource management consulting firm, where she provided consulting services to a diverse client base and delivered specific projects that included designing, auditing and assessing compensation and job evaluation systems, incentive and reward systems, performance evaluation systems, and building HR management platforms for start-up ventures. As Director of Human Resources for MVM, Inc., a multi-site risk management service contractor, Eileen directed the HR function for all domestic and international employees, overseeing all aspects of strategic planning, policies, compensation and benefits, performance management, labor relations and union contract negotiation, AAP/EEO compliance, and training and development. Previous to MVM, Eileen was Vice President of Human Resources for United Federal Saving Bank, where she was accountable for all aspects of the HR function and served on the management, operations and disaster recovery committees. She also served as Manager of Personnel for Quest Research Corporation.

Eileen is active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management, the Washington Area Compensation & Benefits Association, the Human Resource Leadership Forum, the Alexandria Community Shelter and Miriam’s Soup Kitchen.

She earned a B.A. in Business Education from Radford University and has completed graduate coursework at The George Washington University. Eileen has taught the American University’s Strategic Human Resource Management course, the Dulles SHRM Chapter’s PHR/SPHR Certified Study Group and has been guest lecturer for Marymount University’s graduate program in Human Resource Management. Eileen is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute, the credentialing arm of the Society for Human Resource Management.
