Jennifer Tress

Senior Vice President, Public Sector Practice

Jennifer Tress brings more than ten years of management consulting experience to her role as Senior Vice President for KnowledgeBank's Public Sector Practice. She has extensive, well-rounded expertise in organizational effectiveness and human capital management in both the nonprofit and private sectors, and for the past five years has provided consulting services almost exclusively to the federal government.

Jennifer works with clients to optimize programmatic and administrative operations through the development and delivery of organizational assessments, strategic plans, people, process, technology and policy transformation activities and communications and training plans to support the change management process.

Prior to joining KnowledgeBank, Jennifer held management and senior-level consulting positions, most recently as Vice President of Jefferson Consulting Group’s Government Consulting practice and before that, as a senior consultant with Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Prior to entering fully into management consulting, Jennifer was a communications consultant, assisting clients in designing and implementing internal and external communications campaigns.

Her past and ongoing clients include, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Defense, Delta Airlines, US Airways, FedEx, and the Nature Conservancy.

Jennifer is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a BA in communications and has deferral entry into Georgetown University’s Senior Executive Leadership program. She is serves on the board of the American Society for Public Administration, National Capital Area Chapter.
